Expanding and Evolving in 2024

New Look, New Location

We are thrilled to commence 2024 by revealing a design rebrand and announcing an expansion to a second location in the Polaris District on the Northside of Columbus!

Ebb & Float Polaris joins neighbors Planet Fitness, Fresh Thyme, and 101 Beer Kitchen in the Westar Neighborhood Retail Center Plaza. The new location is set to open in March 2024, located at 675 Worthington Rd. To expand to a second location, Ebb is taking over the space previously occupied by Urban Float, which closed unexpectedly in July 2023.

Ebb is working closely with the former owner of the Urban Float location to create a seamless transition and to welcome back their previous patrons. Ebb leadership has decided to extend a complimentary float credit to Urban Float members who had an active credit balance at the time of the closure of Urban Float in 2023. Ebb & Float firmly believes in the transformative power of floatation therapy as a tool for deeply, profound healing work. When Ebb & Float owner Kymberlee Lisk was asked why she chose to honor an unaffiliated business’ services credits, she replied, “Because I believe that is the right thing to do.”

Ebb & Float is a Social Wellness Club offering float therapy, infrared sauna, and cold plunge wellness services. We opened the doors of our current downtown location (231 North 5th St) to the public in the fall of 2018. In the ensuing five years, Ebb has become a flourishing community hub that fosters connection and provides space for stress relief, physical healing, and emotional well-being. This expansion to Polaris will further our mission of creating healing spaces that invite others to awaken to their innate, divine potential and embark on a path of self-discovery.

Additions to Our Service Offerings

Ebb & Float will continue to specialize in Float Therapy (known as sensory deprivation). This transformative practice creates a sensory relief environment to reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Our current downtown location features four Float Therapy suites (with various float tank styles), three Infrared Sauna suites, one Cold Plunge (cold water immersion/ ice bath) suite, and traditional Massage Therapy offerings. Ebb’s second home in Polaris will feature two Float Therapy suites (with pod-style float tanks), three Infrared Sauna suites, and one Cold Plunge.

With an intentional selection of spa services, packages, and membership options starting at just $49 a month, we look forward to adding to our conscious community of over 300 members in the coming year. Current and future members or guests can enjoy services and membership perks at both our Downtown and Polaris Ebb & Float locations.

About the Rebrand

You can expect an evolution of the look and feel of Ebb & Float as our new branding is rolled out in the coming months. This rebranding effort aims to better reflect the voice and values of Ebb & Float as they have evolved over the past five years and to resonate more with those entering a chapter of spiritual awakening or devotion to self. We are proud to have worked with Brand Designer, Agostina Vidable, on this project and can’t wait to share our new look with you.
